Wow! What a trial of wits and information. You just missed it.
Seriously! If you were here 5... no 2 minutes ago, the entire internet was spewing Lava, Puss, and a Hell-Beast or two.
Without any God-Damnable help line, that actually does as the name implies, I successfully racked my brain for the Enigma Machine that is this websites Sign On page.
The heavens parted, a stream of Cider and Melted cheese poured out of my desktop, and my face was kissed by a smile from the CyberGods.
And now all you prelectors of the inane and ramblings of a comic book writer can be satiated.
Welcome ladies and gentlemen. To Ezra Walker's Imaginary Blog.
I first wanted to let any readers, and maybe eventually fans, know the goings on in my life. I work in Entertainment. Schooled in Sound Design I've worked pretty steadily in theater.
While making a transition to Film and Television, a friend and I are also attempting to publish our own comic books. At the root, this is what my blogs outlet is going to be.
I've been writing since I could read, and reading everything that sparked my interest. Early on my father introduced me to a new medium. The Comic Book. A box was pulled from one of the hundreds of bookcases that surround his living room. Next to the stereo system playing The Osborne Brothers, on the other side of his Carl Barks Donald Duck Library hardcovers. One after the other a cavalcade of four color comic books. Titles that I still have found memories of and some others won't recognize; Henry, The Spirit, The Brownies, all the EC's, Zap Comix, Wonder Warthog, Popeye, and a few Mickey Mouse comics that last found print before the comic code. Heroes came later with cartoons, but delivered, shockingly, the same result.
I was hooked. It was tantalizing. All the horror, science fiction, Humor both dark and whimsical. Not to mention all the underground fair, gritty detailed pencil work that seemed messy and intricate, exposing my brain to language and idea yet unexplored. But more important a way to explore it.
So Welcome to my Blog. I'll let you know what I think, and if you feel like it let me know what you think.
